Outer Beauty
What is outer beauty? We know it is greatly appreciated and very important for a lot of people. Many would argue that it is how you look and how other people react to your physical appearance that really matters. To look good is to feel good. But is it really that important and if so how do we reach outer beauty.
Outer beauty is thought to be something that you are born with. It is either there or it isn’t. Those attractive features that make people notice you in a crowd. A face, a figure, outer beauty is basically about flesh and bone. How good we look.
Attraction
Of course we feel physically drawn to certain physical features and forms, feeling attracted to a certain person. Some like it slim, other plus sized. Point is this attraction is highly individual. Like we argued about inner beauty, outer beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
The Perception of Outer Beauty
Everyday we are exposed to a commercialized image on how the male and female body and look should be like. Posters of hair products where the posing model has “perfect” figure and hair or in tv-shows where actors and actresses look like Barbie and Ken dolls.
This is the perception of outer beauty that we learn to yearn and strive to be. But it is not real outer beauty. Real outer beauty does not come in only one size and shape. Any shape and look is attractive. That is a fact!
You are beautiful
Your job is to find that person who can’t stop looking at you, who finds you irresistible. Don’t settle for anyone else just because you are comparing yourself with the image on the poster and on the tv-screen. That is one form of outer beauty but not necessarily yours.
Outer Beauty is Inner Beauty And It Does Matter
Remember outer beauty is a reflection of your inner beauty, your self-confidence and how you fell about the things you do. If you don’t feel beautiful, you won’t look beautiful. But if your confidence is up and you are feeling good about your thoughts, values and personality it will create an outer beauty that does not really have to do with shapes or forms.
